How this works
Besot may earn a commission when you buy something through a link on this site. Those commissions fund the editorial work: the research, the writing, and the index itself. They are the reason Besot can stay free to read.
Earning a commission never changes what we cover or how we rank it. We write about the collaborations we think are worth your attention, and we say so plainly when something is not. A piece does not get a kinder review because it pays better.
How we find listings
Besot indexes eBay directly through its official Browse API. Listings on the other resale platforms are surfaced with the Brave Search API, an independent web index, then reviewed before they appear. We link out to the original seller and never scrape the marketplaces. Search by Brave.
Which links earn a commission
When you click a product link and the listing opens on a resale platform such as eBay, The RealReal, Grailed, Poshmark, or Vestiaire Collective, that platform may credit Besot if you go on to buy, at no extra cost to you. You pay the same price you would have paid arriving any other way.
Those credits reach us through affiliate networks. Today that is the eBay Partner Network, for eBay listings. The network handles the tracking and pays the commission; it never changes your price. As more feeds come online, such as StockX through Impact, they will be named here too.
Not every link on the site is an affiliate link. Links between our own pages, links to an artist or designer profile, and links to non-commercial sources carry no commission.
What commissions never touch
A listing appears on Besot because it matches the piece, and it is ordered by the sort you chose: A to Z, most recently verified, or newly listed. Never by payout.
Sources that pay no commission are indexed with exactly the same care as sources that do, and several of the platforms we index pay us nothing at all today. Coverage is the product. A catalog that hides the unpaid listing is not a catalog.
Where you will see this disclosed
The pages that carry product links also carry a short disclosure near those links, because that is where it is most useful to you. This page is the longer version, gathered in one place. The short notice and this page say the same thing.
Brands and people
Besot is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brand or person featured here. We use brand and artist names to describe the pieces accurately, which is permitted as nominative fair use. We do not use brand logos without permission.
Images
Product images on listing cards are supplied through affiliate feeds and are used in line with those agreements. Campaign and editorial photographs are used as small images in the context of original commentary, and are credited to the photographer and the brand.
If you took a photograph we are showing and you would rather we did not, our image removal page explains how to have it taken down. One email, no proof required, same day.
