John Lennon dressed like a man changing his mind in public: the collarless suit, the Sgt. Pepper satin, the white suit on the Abbey Road crossing, then the army jacket and the New York City T-shirt of his years downtown. besot catalogs him apart from The Beatles because his collection is made with his own estate, not through the band's license. John Varvatos built it in 2025 out of those New York years, and named the tailoring after the places he lived.
